PRACTICE
PRACTICE LOCATION: Camden County High School Wrestling Room | 6300 Laurel Island Parkway, Kingsland, GA
PRACTICE EQUIPMENT: We practice in t-shirts, shorts, and wrestling shoes. Headgear is recommended but not mandatory. Wrestlers with braces should wear a mouthpiece. Please bring your own water to practice.
PRACTICE GROUPS: The majority of our practices are split by age group. Some of our practices will include all ages. For each practice, please arrive early and have wrestling shoes on, tied, and ready to go before the designated start time.
GROUP 1: Pre-K - 2nd Grade 6:00 - 6:45 PM GROUP 2: 3rd - 5th Grade 6:30 - 7:45 PM
CLOSED PRACTICES: Parents are respectfully asked to wait outside of the wrestling room during practice. We have windows, so you will be able to see the action! We will send wrestlers to you if they are unable to participate successfully. Our #1 goal is for wrestlers to have fun while falling in love with the sport and learning fundamentals. In order to accomplish this goal, we expect wrestlers to follow directions and try their best. We have a zero tolerance policy for profanity, negativity, yelling/screaming, and lack of effort (this applies to the coaching staff and wrestling families as well). If you would like to help us out as a volunteer coach, please obtain your AAU coaching card and contact Coach Durham. We'd love to have you!
